Hey everyone! My name is Erika! I’m so excited to join the Oak family!
A little bit about me: Im originally from New Jersey and I studied nutrition and exercise science at Appalachian State university.
My goal is to help you achieve your goals. I’m here to help you create better lifestyle habits for a longer and healthier life through diet and exercise.
Now, here is a brief Q&A with Erika!
"If you could swap lives with any celebrity for a day, who would it be and why?"
Gordon Ramsay because I know behind the camera he’s not as mean as people think and I just want to know what his life is like.
"What’s the most random item you have in your refrigerator right now?"
Four different brands of cheese sticks. All opened.
"If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?"
Sushi
"If you had to be in a reality TV show, which one would you choose?"
Big Brother. The games look fun to play and I’ve watched that show since I was a kid
"What’s your go-to pump-up song that secretly embarrasses you?"
Paralyzed by Big Time Rush
"If you could only do one exercise for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?"
Walking. It’s so good for the whole body including the heart. Its low impact. It can be something to do with other people. To me, there are no downsides to the exercise.
"Which fitness myth would you like to banish forever?"
That carbs are bad. Your brain alone needs around 130g of carbs just to function throughout the day. They are so necessary and they’re delicious.
"Who wins in a push-up contest: you or The Rock?"
Definitely The Rock. I mean…have you seen The Rock?
"If calories didn’t count, what would you eat every day without fail?"
A lot of bowls of cereal
"Describe your perfect workout partner in three words."
Motivating, chatty between sets (4 words sorry)
